TIP 1: WHY EXFOLIATION SHOULD ALWAYS BE YOUR STEP #1
Exfoliation is the first vital step in any skincare regime. Taking away the dead skin cells allows new, healthy skin cells to form.
What does this mean? Fresh, plump, no-bump skin, which reduces the appearance of fine lines and impurities.
This means creating a clean, pure canvas to prepare your skin for whatever step comes next: better application of make-up and also superior penetration of skin care products, such as creams, serums, and moisturizers.
Exfoliation is the key to a fresh and radiant complexion.

TIP 2: PARTICLES IN YOUR EXFOLIATORS & SCRUBS CAN CAUSE TEARS IN YOUR SKIN
We all know about the harmful plastic microbeads in some exfoliators that we need to stay away from, not only for your skin's sake but for the environment as well. But, we also need to be careful of natural particles in exfoliators and scrubs too, such as sugar, nuts, nut shells, and coconut. These are abrasive. They are harsh on the skin, actually forming micro cuts on the top layer of your skin. Yes, you can scrub away the dead skin cells with these particles, but you are also scrubbing away perfectly healthy skin as well. This means you can easily damage and irritate your skin, whether you have sensitive skin or not.
BOA is intelligent and selective, gently removing ONLY the dead skin cells and leaving the healthy skin where it should be - untouched.

TIP 3: CLEAN BEAUTY IS BEST
Chemicals can be effective at stripping away layers of skin. However, like scrubs, chemicals don't discriminate between healthy and dead skin cells. This can lead to irritation and skin damage, especially for sensitive skin.

TIP 4: KEEP USING BOA UNTIL IT STOPS WORKING
The beauty of BOA is that it seeks out only the dead skin cells. It simply won't work in places you have healthy skin. For new BOA users, we encourage you to keep using BOA every day until it stops working. When it stops working, you know you don't have any dead skin cells to massage away. Then, simply use on an as-needs basis. While this varies from person to person, users typically use BOA 2-3 times a week.
